The TDEM project is a hybrid structural steel and mass timber building, incorporating 2,137 tons of structural steel and 2,489 squares of metal decking. The Tower features composite floor systems on Levels 1 and 7, utilizing wide flange columns and beams, shear studs, and large cantilevers, all of which required specialized erection planning to execute safely and efficiently.
The SEOC Building is constructed using tilt-up concrete wall panels, with composite decks at both the low and high roof levels, integrating seamlessly with the overall structural system.
A key challenge of the project was the installation of the 120-foot-long roof trusses. These massive components required extensive planning, engineering, and coordination to ensure safe and precise placement. The size and complexity of the trusses, coupled with intricate steel connections, demanded expert execution to uphold structural integrity and meet project specifications.
