While the Lancaster Data Center Fit-Out was not Perry & Perry Builders’ largest or most complex project, it posed a significant scheduling challenge: maintaining pace with an aggressive general contractor timeline. Perry & Perry rose to the challenge with precision and efficiency.

The scope of work included the installation of 696 C6x13 channel supports with angle clips and 1,392 threaded rod supports for closed-coupled coolers. Leveraging the expertise of our erection team, PPB implemented a streamlined “assembly line” process for hanger rod clip installation—resulting in substantial labor savings and increased productivity.

A potential delay was proactively mitigated during the preconstruction phase. Four days prior to mobilization, the project team identified a layout discrepancy within the CCC technician’s threaded rod locations. This early intervention allowed the issue to be corrected before work began, ensuring a smooth project launch.
Throughout the project, Perry & Perry maintained steady progress ahead of schedule and successfully completed the scope of work two weeks early. This early completion enabled the general contractor to release subsequent trades into the Data Hall ahead of plan, generating significant cost savings for the client.
