Tarleton State University Convocation Center

Our team successfully completed the erection of over 1,600 tons of structural steel and 377 pieces of precast seating, walls, and stairs for a major stadium project. Among the most impressive components were six massive 240-foot-long roof trusses, each weighing over 100,000 pounds. These trusses were installed within the tight confines of the stadium bowl, requiring extensive coordination and precision. Every phase of truss erection was meticulously engineered in partnership with Innova Technologies, including detailed planning for crane positioning, aerial lift access, and truss support sequencing. Temporary braces and connections were shop fabricated and installed based on engineered solutions to maximize both safety and efficiency.

In addition to the steel scope, the project included the seamless placement of precast elements, with each piece scheduled to arrive in a specific sequence to keep the erection timeline on track. Our team worked closely with the project team to coordinate logistics, staging, and safety measures. The entire job was completed with over 36,500 man-hours - all with zero recordable incidents. This project highlights our commitment to safety, planning, and execution at the highest level, delivering complex steel and precast work with precision and professionalism.
